This is a basic merlin hood. This hood is hand sewn from kangaroo leather. The bottom trim is bonded, and it includes a woven leather tab on the top. It also features durable synthetic braces. These hoods are from a 1-piece pattern and they are blocked on the same Watzke blocks as my premium hoods. These offer the same excellent fit with a little less cost. (The base weight would be the merlin's initial weight when empty)
#0.75 fits an average jack merlin
#1 would fit a large jack, small female
#1.5 would fit an average female 180g - 200g
#2 would fit a larger female 200g - 220g
